dream fragment

Vacation

I dreamt that I went on a vacation with my family and my friends family to some Caribbean resort-type destination. I remember tidbits while being there like hearing audio clips of Boondocks coming from the bar in the pool and just walking around with friends. I also remember that we went in this giant rubber boat-plane thing and we flew down and across several waterfalls. They were beautiful and the experience was exhilarating.

I also remember that when we were in our rooms, I had my macbook with me and I wanted to watch an episode of the Boondocks. (really had this show on my mind, clearly) My friend started an episode from Season 2 and I got pissed cause I wanted to watch one from Season 3. I remember how the episode was about this gay guy being pissed off that the grandpa was making fun of him for being gay, and that he was a gangster willing to kill him.



In a completely different dream i remember chilling with a whole bunch of people that I went to highschool with in some room with a staircase. All the girls were drinking like crazy and felt sick, as they kept repeating "sloow down, slow down".

I also remember being in a Wal-Mart type location with people from highschool again but there are no employee's. For some reason a teacher is there, not one that actually exists though, and I remember contemplating whether I should make a move on her or not. I showed her that the sports section is the best area to crash because it has the most comfortable places to sleep. I think that I bumped into another guy from school that wasn't originally there, who was drunk off his ass, and I was trying to show off by doing some crazy shit figureskating stuff....except I kept totally failing.

I was walking through the parking lot of my old elementary school. It was raining and a very dark Grey out and for some reason there were many people walking through and around the area and driving through the parking lot. My friends mom came by in her car and told me to get in. I saw to my right that her oldest son, my really good friend, was walking out in the rain towards my house. I said, "where are we going?" and she told me that we were going to her house in Mississauga, which is a good 40 minutes from where we were. I told her that her son was walking out there in the rain and that we should pick him up but she insisted that she drove me to her house first then she would come back and drive him.

>> We're on the highway and it's still pouring. She's a terrible driver because she's kind of afraid behind the wheel. She would just stop in the middle of traffic and wait until enough room builds up for her to change lanes. I grab control of the wheel because I cannot stand how bad she is at driving and eventually I switch places with her and continue driving.

This dream is already very vague for me as I chose not to write anything major down immediately after waking up. I remember that I was suddenly in grade 12 again, except my whole class and teacher were all working in my house. It was business, I remember this because the head of the business department was the teacher. I remember I was with my friend David in the kitchen and for some reason we were both trying to draw the Canadian flag with absolutely no luck. I no longer remember the rest of the dream, though I do remember that before I woke up we were walking up to my room. A lil Wayne song was playing and it somehow started transitioning into that really crappy new Usher song (Oh My God, I think) and then into some hilarious Jamaican sounding dialect. Then I woke up.


This was a morning dream, and what was strange about it was that it carried a similar characteristic to many other fragments I had that morning. I was sitting on the floor of a mall near my house with a kid from my old Highschool that is a nice guy but I was never really good friends with. I'm not sure what we were talking about, I just remember that I had a very strong cold and that it made him uncomfortable. My nose was stuffed and I was coughing and I felt like shit. He was kept moving around me, I guess in an effort to avoid getting sick. Then I woke up.


This dream also took place in the same mall, except it was with people that I actually see on a more regular basis. I remember that we were walking towards a down escalator. I was sick, much like I was in the previous fragment but not nearly as bad, and they were keeping a distance because of that. (when I woke up I noted this as a dream sign for the morning) I remember someone having some sort of portable video device, possibly an iPhone, and talking about Grand Theft Auto 4. I said, "Hey, I wanna watch the trailer for that game cause then maybe I can fall asleep and have a lucid dream". My friends gave me a weird look and then I woke up.
