Fragments for the first dream. I was on the phone with my friend Chason for the majority of the dream. Every time I would try to go, he would keep me there. It felt like the conversation lasted hours. My mom was on the computer. I finally hung up on him and felt very peaceful.

Next I was downstairs when I noticed a lot of police activity outside. I went to the window and saw they were all going to the house next door. There was a single female cop standing outside. There were some dogs from a K9 unit around.

I answered my door and there was one of my neighbor's and a cop. I knew him from town. I can't remember what he explained to me, except it was something about drugs, and then he asked if he could look around my house. I said "I'm sorry, officer. I know you're just doing your job, but I don't consent to searches unless you have a warrant." He said okay, a little disappointed.

He said, "Well we've just been hit can you give us your fingerprints with this kit?"

I replied, "No officer, not unless required by law. He's my neighbor and I've been in his house. I could have accidentally touched something incriminating." He smiled very broadly and so did I, as if this was incredibly funny, then he left.

I went to my neighbor's house. When the mother opened the door, she looked very old and sick. She asked me something and then closed the door, which was actually a very large shower curtain, and I saw her kids go upstairs looking tired. I began explaining to her as she shut the curtain how to deal with the police, what her rights were and weren't. She was like "You be my kid now?" because apparently people in my dreams lack basic English skills. She was very happy. I told her a few things she should do as she went to her car. An old man wheeled towards her, complaining about it. My mom also complained that I had told her how to keep herself safe from police inquiry. I think this is all related to my disgust of people decrying the London riots.
