The path to Lucid Mastery

This last dream had me consider a possible Dream Sign; my mom. She's appeared in all three of my dreams so far so I'm curious to see whether my next dream will prove this!

When the dream started I was in what I assumed to be one of the top rooms of a skyscraper, with huge glass windows. I was looking through those windows when a tsunami hit. I wasn't really worried since the I would be safe up here and continued staring at the destruction for the most of the dream. After about five minutes the water started flowing back into the ocean, and suddenly I wasn't in the skyscraper anymore but inside of our van.

Because we have a van, it was too heavy to be washed away with the water, but it got thrown around wildly nonetheless. Then I saw a small side road and persuaded my mom, who was driving, to take the road. As soon as we drove onto the road there was no water anymore, as if we'd entered a tsunami-free zone. My mom was looking back and laughing and talking about getting away lucky and I told her to watch the road, as it'd be really stupid to die in a car accident when we'd just survived a tsunami.

Then I woke up and wrote the dream in my dream journal.
