    1. Second lucid dream!

      by , 12-13-2013 at 11:24 AM
So this is my second ever lucid dream I had last night. After my first lucid I stopped trying for a while thinking they would start to come naturally. Anyway I'm back in full now so here's what happened!

I am walking through the snow in the countryside with a woman from my work from work. All of a sudden it starts snowing heavily and I realize I am dreaming. do my usual RC of pinching my nose and I can still breath! Excitedly I close my eyes and say aloud to myself "it's time to fly!" I open my eyes again and I am floating high up in the air. I zoom around really fast flying over fields and mountains feeling the wind in my hair and my belly drop as I dive and climb through the air. I land in a little cavern underneath one of the mountains and find an opaque glass sphere. I remember I wanted to try telekinesis the next time I was lucid and I manage to throw it just using my mind.
Next I decide I want to create something so I imagine into existence a small button on the side of a mountain which appears. When I press it a race track pops out of the ground bellow around the mountain. I quickly lose interest in the race track and after flying around some more I lose lucidity and wake up.

Wasn't the most exciting lucid I could have hoped for but still fun! Hope to have some more soon.

      Thanks for reading,
      Sam.

    2. First Lucid!!!

      by , 12-13-2013 at 11:24 AM
      Hey guys,

This is my first post on the forum as I didn't think there was much point even posting until I had my first lucid.
Anyway for about a month now I have been doing reality checks (the one I do most is holding my nose to see if I can breath.) Before, I hadn't had much success apart from feeling a bit of SP setting in
HOWEVER... Last night I was so tired I went straight to bed and didn't bother trying to WILD as usual or anything.
After falling asleep I started to have a REALLY vivid dream about being in a computer simulation.
In the simulation I was fighting this massive burning living statue while falling off a building. The next thing I know I am walking through an alleyway and over a bridge but I keep bumping into old school friends I haven't seen in years which was obviously odd.
The next thing I know I have woken up in my bathroom at home but for I decide to pinch my nose to test for a false awakening and... I can breath and I become lucid! I run back to my dream bed and close my eyes saying when I open them I will be in a new dream scene and I am instantly taken to a beautiful Forrest somewhere in snowy mountains.
To be honest I was a bit skeptical about how realistic LDs are supposed to feel but the experience felt overwhelming real. I feel a cold mist in the air and can smell the pine trees. My vision is sharp and in focus too. I decide the thing I want to do most is fly so I jump into the air and soar above the trees like it's the most natural thing in the world. The sky is all sorts of beautiful colors and I can feel the air rushing through my hair.
I remember that LDs don't last long and that I need to make the most of it. I shout out to the dream "Show me something interesting!" all of a sudden a load of paintings are shown in front of my face. Abstract ones, one of them being a giant fish trying to kiss the planet! I cant remember the rest... After a while the dream gets shaky and I can tell its disappearing so I spin around in a circle to try and repair it but I wake up in my bed BUT again I decide to pinch my nose and find I am still dreaming!!!
2 false awakenings caught in one night! This time I just close my eyes and find myself in a porch. I open the door but I just run into another door. After running through about 5 doors in a row I tell myself that the next door will take me somewhere interesting. I open the door and I am on the roof of a house in Persia (or some other hot dessert city) and someone tells me the government are injecting a worm into peoples ears so that if they laugh at unapproved things their heads explode! The next thing I know I am Thor from the Avengers and am flaying towards the city to save people (Along with an Arabian man that has just turned into the Hulk!) After flying through the city I end up fighting Joe Perry (From Aerosmith!) who is throwing electrified tiles at me... Anyways after that I wake up and instantly write down details on my phone which I have ready for writing in.
The thing is the more I started waking up the more the dream started to feel like a distant memory and the feelings of realness faded although I KNOW at the time it felt as real as waking life...
Now I know I can do it and how real the dreams feel I am inspired to try again and again.

      Thanks for reading.
