Book of Dreams

Dream #1

I am in a library looking for the book The Furies, which I am currently reading in my waking life. For some reason, I cannot not walk, so I'm hopping around on my knees. There are automatic lights so only parts of the place are lit. I cannot find the book, and most of the shelves have "Winnie the Pooh" books on them.

Dream #2(of what I can actually remember)

I am an alien living with a surrogate family. The father of the family is abusive to his wife and daughter, and at dinner I get angry at him and throw the spaghetti we're eating at him. He is covered in butter and cheese and pasta, but he is still calm. He stands and begins to walk slowly around the table toward me. I reach my hand out to him in an attempt to harm him telekinetically, but to no avail. Suddenly, my view zooms out at a map, with blinking dots indicating the locations of other aliens. I somehow summon them to my aid, and the lot of us conquer the father.
