    1. Late to a Final Exam (In the wrong city)

      by , 12-16-2010 at 08:05 PM
I woke up this morning at around 7:00 AM naturally, but my management final exam wasn't until 10, so I decided to snooze a little while longer. This is the dream I had:

I awoke in my house back in my hometown (I live in an apartment elsewhere currently) and looked at the clock. It read 11:00 AM. I started to panic. I put on clothes as fast as I could and ran down to my car and began to drive off. My car was moving along at a pace that was making me panic even more. Then, as I turned the corner off my street, two children got in my way. I attempted to steer around them slowly but they were always in my drive path, so I stopped. Then the dream partially shifted. I was now riding a bike, completely forgetting about my exam when a midget version of my cousin rode up on another bike next to me. We started talking when my other cousin zoomed past us on another bike as if he wanted to race.

I was a little angry with myself upon waking up because I never picked up the fact that I awoke in my hometown, which is not where I am currently.

    2. A huge pond of mud with a tree in the middle with a wood platform

      by , 09-14-2010 at 08:48 PM
The dream began as I stood on a huge wood platform that was elevated above a huge mud pond by a tree. The colors were very bleak and the pond itself was surrounded by endless forest that I could semi see over. I was tossing a battered soccer ball around with a few people I had once known. A friend of mine was actually in the pond looking up at me. Playfully, I faked to throw the ball at her, and then as I attempted to throw it the ball left my hand but came back and hit me in the face. She began to laugh, and I woke up.

    3. a vague pair of dreams....my house's den floor and an unrecognizable college classroom

      by , 09-10-2010 at 10:30 PM
These dreams were very, very fuzzy.

The first one began with me laying on the ground of my house's den floor. The floor was covered with a thick, soft carpet, as it is in real life. My brother was laughing at me as I was laying in an unusually awkward position. I said something like "I can't move." That only made him laugh more. "Dude, I seriously can't move." His laugh became maniacal and increased greatly in volume, and that's when I woke up. I had a few false awakenings after this dream, but I'm not going to consider classifying it as a lucid because it happened so many times that I became exhausted and woke myself up purposely. When I fell back asleep I was in a college classroom that was extremely unfamiliar. I had never seen this professor before in my life. I remember doing something on my laptop during the lecture. If I remember right I was looking at alternate times for the class I was in, and I accidentally clicked a button on the screen that put me in another class. I became very nervous at this point. I remained in a nervous state until the end of the class period, when I attempted to tell the professor about my mistake. The dream ended here.

    4. A sit-in movie with some people I don't care to see again

      by , 09-07-2010 at 12:43 AM
I was walking with a group of people I had known in high school. I had no open conflict with these people, but I never really cared for them. My ex-girlfriend is included in this group. We walked up to a gigantic movie screen and sat down in a circle. The screen looked like any drive-in theater, but we were sitting on the grass instead of driving. As we were watching the opening credits for whatever movie my mind had created, the title of the movie kept changing. My friend Jared walked towards us and sat down next to me. He said something like, "What the fuck! The title keeps changing." I said "I know, I don't remember it doing this." Then my ex-girlfriend got my attention and said "You've seen this movie before haven't you?" I said yes. "Then why does the title keep changing?" I told her I don't know. I was silent after that, because I didn't feel like talking to her. She eventually started talking to someone else, taking the hint. The last thing I remember was someone with a yellow shirt sitting down in front of me, blocking my view of the movie screen.

I was angry with myself upon waking up, because I should have picked up on the constantly changing movie titles as a dream sign. Had I became lucid, I probably would've steamrolled that group of people...except for Jared. He was the only cool one of that group.
