    1. Olive Garden Experiments

      by , 10-31-2013 at 06:22 PM
(I am unsure how the dream started, so I will start from where I do remember.)

I'm walking down a road with a woman under my left arm (which I felt like was my wife/gf in the dream). We were going to a restaurant but I forget which one. As we continued on, we passed an Olive Garden and I asked the woman if she would rather eat there instead of where we were initially headed. She answered rather indifferently so I decided to go inside. Immediately after entering the Olive Garden, I realized I was dreaming and decided this was the best place to do some experiments involving my 5 senses.

First, I started touching my surroundings, however my sense of touch was much less sensitive than it usually is.
Then I started testing my sense of hearing by simply listening to the hustle-and-bustle of the restaurant, which I could hear faintly.
Satisfied, I started testing my sense of taste. This was difficult at first as I had nothing to eat, so I approached one of the tables and saw a woman eating chips and salsa. I reached over and took some (the woman gave me a look of approval, as if it was okay for me to take some). I believe I could taste the chips/salsa, however it was too faint to make a definitive answer.
Unfortunately that was all the testing I could get in before my dream ended, but I do plan to continue my tests in future lucid dreams. Hopefully dreams that are more vivid as well .
    2. Iron Man's Three Shacks

I am unsure of where the dream began but I find myself in a grass field of some sort and I am already lucid (though how I achieved lucidity is beyond me). I decide to walk around for awhile, just to soak in the dream, being cautious not to do anything that might wake me up prematurely. I explored for a few minutes until I was confident my dream was stable enough for me to do some more extreme stunts without jeopardizing the dream's integrity. I wanted to fly, as I hadn't done it in awhile and it's a experience that never disappoints. Having decided what I was going to do, I jumped into the air and, using my hands and my feet as thrusters, I rocketed into the air like Iron Man would and began flying around. I could feel the pressure of the thrusters on my hands and feet and sometimes the thrust on my hands was so powerful, I could barely keep my arms straight.

After while, I spotted a group of DC's chatting amongst one another and decide I should show off my abilities. I quickly flew down to my new found audience and, by manipulating the thrusters on my hands and feet, I bobbed and weaved through the crowd. So impressed was my entourage, that I overheard one of them ever state that my abilities were "godlike". Amused over the irony (and truth) of the DC's statement and my ego's appetite satisfied, I stopped showing off and continued exploring the dream world on foot.

I soon stumbled upon a small house/shack just a few yards away from the crowd of people I had amazed. However, before being given the chance to actually investigate further, I realized that the dream was fading. I began rubbing my hands together but to no avail. Quickly I began touching and feeling the wooden fence surrounding the shack, hoping the sensation of touch would stabilize the dream. This plan worked very effectively and now the dream was much clearer and more vivid than ever before. However, I knew it wouldn't last forever and that the dream would soon come to a natural end.

Realizing I didn't have much time left, I decided to conduct an experiment with the dream world. I wanted to test and see if dream memory was superior/inferior to our memory in reality. To do so, I was going to try and remember every detail I could about abandoned shack and it's surrounding environment. After a few minutes of observation, the dream ended.

(I would put down what I remember, but I am too lazy at the moment. Needless to say, I am quite surprised of all the details I seem o have remembered. It's not superhuman by any means, but I don't think I would have remembered so much in reality.)

    3. Lucid Sunset (Most of the dream) 6/30/13

      by , 07-02-2013 at 07:47 AM
The first thing I remember is being in a small park located in a city that looked vaguely reminiscent of New York. For some reason I am fighting off this blonde haired woman who is attempting to assassinate me for reasons unbeknownst to me. However, in the middle of out scuffle I realize that this entire entire experience is just a dream. I quickly calm myself from the initial adrenaline rush and begin rubbing my hands together to both stabilize and increase the vividness of the dream. It works a little bit, but not as much as I would have liked it too.

After a bit more stabilization, I want to find my bearings when I see a door off to my right. I decide to enter it because I am intrigued as to where it might take me. I pass through the door and now find myself in a house that looks like a mish-mash of both my current living quarters and my previous home that I lived in as a child. I could tell it was sunset here, unlike the previous setting which was midday, and the sky was a very deep shade of orange. Deeper and more vibrant than any sunsets I have seen in real life.

I slowly began exploring the house I noticed it had no artificial light sources of it's own, meaning the only available light came from the sun's rays shining through the house's windows. This made for a very strange, though beautiful lighting effect. I continued exploring the house when I came upon a hall way. I became curious to see how sensitive my sense of touch was in this dream, so I began dragging my hand across the wall as I walked down the hallway. The wall felt almost exactly like it would in real life, my sense of touch was extremely accurate. I finished testing my sense of touch for the moment as I came upon a room at the end of the hall way. It looked like my parent's room from my current house, however it was backwards from it actually was. The lighting in this room was also beautiful as the room had one large window that let the orange sunlight pour into the room.

I admired the room for a little bit then decided to explore more of the house. After exploring some more I stumbled upon a room that looked my kitchen from a house I lived in many years ago. However, all of the chairs and tables were missing one or two of their left legs which made them lean over or tilt to the left. After observing the area for awhile I realized the dream was fading. I began rubbing my hands together to stabilize the dream and it worked. However, scared I would lose the dream I didn't actually stop rubbing my hands together after the stabilization was complete. I began exploring again when suddenly I felt something sticky between my hands. I stated investigating my hands but I didn't find anything that might have caused this sticky sensation.

I decided to not to investigate the matter any more thoroughly and instead decided to continue my exploration. I began wandering around for awhile until I came upon the exit to the house. I decided to take my leave from the house and stepped outside onto a balcony/porch of sorts. The roof of this porch was very low lying (just a few inches taller than me) and there was a small wooden railing surrounding the balcony to prevent any accidental falls. As I looked around I saw the beautiful sunset in the distance off to my left and a baseball field directly in front of me, just a few yards away.

There were 2 dream characters playing on the field and a crowd of people watching them. I jumped over the railing and approached the field to get a better look. After spectating the players for awhile I wanted to explore the dream world further. However, the my path was blocked by the baseball field and I didn't want to take the chance of across the field and getting hit in the head by a baseball. So I decided instead to walk around the baseball field, however, by the time I reached the first base I woke up.

    4. Wanted Criminal(s) (Fragments) 6/30/13

The dream begins with my family packing my father's car with food supplies. Apparently either my entire family or just my father is wanted by the FBI and we/he needed to escape town. We proceed to pack the car with more supplies when I hear a beeping noise emitting from the undercarriage of the car. My first thought was that this was a tracking device placed there by the FBI. This tracking device would have made escape pointless since the FBI would always know where we were, so I tried to find it and remove it. It took awhile to find it but I found it attacked to the undercarriage of the car on the passenger's side. The tracker was just a small, metal chrome box.

I began thinking about what I would do with the tracker. I couldn't destroy it otherwise the FBI would know we found their tracker and would move in. I also couldn't move it too far or they would know we had found and disposed of it. Not knowing what I should do, I placed the box on the curb until I could find out what to do with it. I then walked back to my house and, as I did so, I heard a crashing noise in the direction of the car and realized that one of my family members had destroyed the GPS tracker. Suddenly a minimap popped up in front of my eyes and it showed 2 dots. 1 of the dots was green and the other was gold. The green dot represented my family car and I knew full well that the gold dot represented the FBI extraction team coming to arrest us/my father.

Astonished at the FBI's response time, I finally understood that we were doomed to fail on our quest to escape the FBI from the outset. There was no chance we could have escaped, GPS tracker or not. I accepted our failure as an inevitability and woke up.

    5. Hand Cancer (Mostly Fragments) 6/27/13

      by , 06-28-2013 at 12:00 AM
I am with my family at the Mission City Orthodontist building I used to go to when I younger. The building itself had a different layout than the one I went to in real life and looked a little bit more futuristic but I somehow knew it was the same place. Apparently we came here so my brother could have his mouth x-rayed and examined in preparation for his braces. However, as we are all waiting for the the examination to be over, my mother disappears. The orthodontist finally returned with an x-ray in hand but he looked very disturbed. He proceeded to show us the x-ray he had with him, however, the x-ray was not of my little brother's jaw but of his hand. The x-ray showed there was a large red mass of some sort in his hand. The orthodontist explained that this mass was a malignant tumor. He then stated that he was fully capable of surgically removing this tumor but was unsure how successful it would be at stopping the cancerous growth from spreading. And, in fact, was unsure if it already had spread or not.

My mother walked back into the room and I tried to explain to her what had just transpired. However, every time I tried she would cut me off or told me to stop. I told her it was extremely important but she didn't care. I was furious at her but also distressed at the news we received so I decided to leave and blow off some steam. When I finally left the building and shut the door screamed "god damnit".
The last thing I remember is taking the car and driving around for quite a long period of time.

    6. Don't let him get near the night club..... (Mostly fragments) 6/27/13

      by , 06-27-2013 at 11:18 PM
I am with this group of people that consists of me, Michael Westen (from Burn Notice), Fiona Glenanne (from Burn Notice), and a blonde woman I have never seen before. All three of us were in a parking lot and we were taking a man we had captured into custody. The blonde woman began escorting the man to our car (which is actually Michael's Dodge Charger from Burn Notice) while I observed from a distance. Suddenly I heard Fiona behind me shout to the woman to "not to let the man near the night club". I looked around and saw an abandoned building near the parking lot that I assumed was the night club Fiona was referring to. The building itself was beat down and surrounded by a few metal fences.

After inspecting the building from afar I turned back to observe the woman and man when suddenly the man broke free from the woman's grip and fled towards the abandoned building. The woman then looked at me with a hint of disappointment in her face. However, not having a lot of time to think, I ignored her and quickly gave chase to the man. I started sprinting towards the abandoned building and then proceeded to jump, climb, and even front flip over the metal fences with little effort. As I did so, I kept thinking to myself how cool this would all be if this was a lucid dream. As those thoughts crossed my mind, I woke up.
