    Twisty's Gallery of Dreams

The name's Twisty. You might know me from around DV (probably not, since I'm still such a n00b). What you see here is a log of what happens inside my subconscious. Not much of it makes sense, but I find it to be enthralling. I've just had my first lucid, and am pumped to have some more sometime soon! So far, I've had everything from battles with giant robots to crashing a wedding with the people from Victorious, and everything in between.

As for a little bit about how I came to learn about lucid dreaming, I actually began to write down my dreams on my own. I eventually remembered something I had seen on television many years ago on a dream control camp in Hawaii. I was bummed because the chances of me going to Hawaii anytime soon were non-existent. Then it hit me. Everything is on the Internet. Everything. After a Google search, I was just a click away from Dream Views.

I mainly write down my dreams on pen and paper, but I'm working on converting them to the online format; more old ones should be coming in often.

I'll be using a level system to keep track of my lucid dreaming process. The higher my level, the more advanced the tasks get. I just had my first lucid, so that means I'm officially Level 2!

    Dream Goals:

    Lvl. 1
    [x] Have a lucid Dream
[x] Write in my DJ at least once a day for a week

    Lvl. 2
[x] Keep lucid for fifteen minutes of longer
[ ] Talk to a DC during a lucid dream about anything
[ ] Have at least 3 lucid dreams

    Current Dream Signs:
    - Cross-country runs, people from my team, etc.
    - iPads: I use an iPad for school, so I'm around one pretty often
    - Mermaids: I have no clue on this one whatsoever
    - Video games: often my dream will be in the form of a video game screen
    - Jaggers: The lawyer from Dickens's Great Expectations often shows up, but as some sort of evil magician instead

Also, for each dream I log, I'll classify it, rate it, and give a little analysis to what I think it might be about. Feel free to comment on something you might think it represents; I love feedback!

All in all, welcome to my dream journal!

    1. The Black Magic of the Banquet: A Continuation?

I know I took a while to record this, but it's finally here. This is actually, somehow connected to my previous dream, when my cross-country friends were transformed into animals by Jaggers, the evil rich guy.

I was back in Jagger's mansion, and found that my friends (who had become animals) had killed Jaggers. I was very worried about what would happen to them, so I searched around for a cure. I found a slip of paper in Jaggers's pocket that had a spell on it to reverse the changes. I can't remember it exactly, but the first sign of changes began, and they started to slow revert to human form. We were all so happy that they were back to normal, and left the accursed mansion.

We soon split paths, and I found myself by an apartment complex. It was different though, with a whole bunch of little houses on wooden stilts, like you see at the shore. I climbed onto the balcony of one, and looked around. There were a couple of lawn chairs and potted pants there, but no one seemed to live there.

I looked down, to suddenly realize that I was wearing no pants. I rushed back to my house, bur my mom stopped me, and said that we needed to go complain to the management. The main building was big and futuristic, with a menacing presence. As we walked in the automatic sliding doors, my dream world began to fade away...

Analysis: Since it sort of followed up from my past dream, that covers the friends-as-animals part. The rest, I'm not sure. I might have watched a TV show with those type of houses before I went to sleep, but I'm not entirely sure.
