Location: on a large platform vessel
Tools Used: baramay device
Others In Room: one other
Unusual Activities During The Day: during this period I was spending a lot of time contemplating the concepts of waking reality as a projection of consciousness
Dream
I dreamt I was on a small boat and we were in rough sea. I was at my work station looking at a monitor and liasing with the captain on the bridge by radio. I could see on my workstation monitor a view of the vessel from above and I could see that there was what looked like big blocks of ice shooting out from bellow the waters surface and up into the air, coming back down in a long arc and smashing back into the sea. We were being thrown about a lot from the impact of these blocks of ice were making with the water and we were searching to find the area of sea we were going to be working at. I was running from inside my workstation container to outside on deck and back inside to see what was going on with these large blocks of ice and whilst I was doing this there was a male DC standing outside. The bridge called me on the radio and said that a block of ice was going to hit the vessel and to brace for impact. I knew it was serious and I ran outside and told the man we were going to be hit and to hold onto something but before I could finish what i was saying, there was a loud smash and the boat immediatley started sinking! Before I knew it I was under the water and I couldn't see much, just lots of bubbles and splashing. I can remember thinking 'this is so exciting! I better start swimming upwards so that I don't get sucked under by the vessel going down' but I was near the surface and I was confident I would be ok. I then woke up.
Thoughts/Notes
When I woke up I was a bit shocked from the dream because it was so extremelly vivid. Especially being under water. I could actually feel the cold water soaking into my clothes and touchig my skin and I could hear the noise of the bubbles all around me. Regardless of the authenticity of it, I wasn't ever scared. It wasn't a nightmare. It was a very exciting and enjoyable dream.
My interpretation is this: The boat represents me on my lifes path. My higher mind is represented by the captain up on the bridge and I'm obviously the ego mind down on the deck. The water symbolises my emotions. Not sure what the male DC represents could be my thoughts. The blocks of ice represent either negative circumstances or my beliefs.
