Something I needed

I remember going to the Airman's Attic (see below) to look for something I need, but I don't remember what I was looking for. I didn't find it. I asked one of the volunteers to look in the back room, but he refused and scolded me for not volunteering myself. I ended up looking for what I needed at a store, but I still didn't find it.
Airman's Attic - Most (if not all) U.S. Air Force bases have a building called the Airman's Attic, where you can get free stuff which has been donated by other servicemembers. You can also donate stuff you don't need if it is in good condition. I've found all manner of useful stuff there, including an infant car seat, a DVD player, almost new uniforms, and various clothing and board games. All the people who work there are volunteers.
