lucid

I tried to WILD after WBTB, but I fell asleep. I can remember only the part where I entered lucid.
I threw a basketball and it caught fire. I did an RC and I became lucid. But, I awake.
This won't count as a lucid dream, because I can't recall it clearly and I didn't do anything as lucid, only realized at the end of the dream.
I tried to WILD multiple times, but I cannot. Sometimes I fall asleep, sometimes I spend 2 hours without anything happening. What am I doing wrong?!

I went to bed at around 10:45 using MILD
A few (dream) seconds after I enter the dream I get into the lowest phase of lucidity (My first LD ).
I am sitting on a bench. I see clones of my mother in front of myself, so I do a RC and find myself in a dream, it seems. I read that flying is hard for some people, but as I fixed one of my scopes to fly earlier, I manage to hover. Sadly, one of the clones attacked me (cause I was fearing it would) and after I fell on the ground I lost my lucidity.
The remaining time I battled the clones, thinking it's real (it was my first night of MILD, so it didn't help that much). At the end of the dream every clone dissapears and one of my old colleagues appears and tries to give me a punch. It goes through me, so I try to look at my hands to see if I am dreaming. But I wake up.
Well, I can say I acomplished one of my goals, become lucid even if it is only for some seconds.
