My first lucid dream and also my first journal. I never thought of writing a journal but instead of typing a journal lol. Wonder if I ever have another lucid.....

Morning, few mins close to waking up and drive mom to work.

Had a lucid right after hearing a news about a shooting in Arizona and the guy was a lucid dreamer few days ago. The dream was weird and scary.

I saw myself waking up in a dream and then I felt back asleep. However, in the dream I couldn't fall back asleep because I knew that it was morning and I have to get up in about 30 mins later. So, I just kept closing my eyes trying to fall asleep but then suddenly I felt something touching my right shoulder and my left arm. I opened my eyes and I noticed 2 rats are sitting and cleaning themselves. One sat next to my right shoulder and other sat next to my left arm. The strange thing was that they don't look like rats but more like a baby mouse but then their fur are like rats. Their fur color aren't black or brown, but more like gray-ish like old people with gray hair.

I actually realized that I am really dreaming too. I can even felt that they were touching my shoulder and my arm as well while they were cleaning themselves. My whole body even had goosebump cause I felt scared and disgust. I thought to myself about how dirty rats are so I tried to push them off the couch (I always like to sleep on a couch than bed), but without disturbing them. So, I made a quick jerk of my body and the one on my right shoulder fell off the couch and ran off, while the one on my left arm got its tail stuck and kept trying to run but couldn't.

Suddenly, the dream was cut off and then I woke up. It was my first dream that I actually noticed that I am dreaming, had control over it, and felt the sensation of it too.
