Being sick and melatonin = great dreams.
Yesterday I had a bad cold. So I decided to break the record and go to sleep at 5.45 PM. I took 6 mg of melatonin and went to bed.
I noticed that drinking water enchances my dreams and helps me with dream recall. I drank half a glass of water after each awakening (about every 2 hours).
What I got was absolutely amazing night of dreams. I had about 8 mind blowing dreams and a false awakening.
Anybody else had a good results with being sick and melatonin?

I haven't been sick for a long time, but my dad just had a flu, so if I catch it I'll be sure to see if there's a connection.

I don't know, I haven't really tried sleeping that long. Sounds like some nice dreams, though you had to be sick.

Yeah, I know. We're going to the mountains for Easter, so I hope any kind of sickness can wait until after then..

really i have noticed that in general when i'm sick and have a fever I have noticed more vivid dream recall. I was sick this last week and not getting enough sleep so.... when i did sleep i had no recall. I was too tired from coughing all night. Crap i need sleep!!!! Being sick sucks... yeah you all run out there and get sick so you can have better dream recall!!! haha yeah
