I AM CONFUSED!!(LD's always in 3rd person) HELP!!

I have had a few lucids (ever since i was about 8) and i never really put too much thought to them(not that i don't like them), but recently i decided to look up on them over the inter-web. after looking around for sites on the matter (and some porn 8) ) i found that usually they are not in the 3rd person(from a veiw from behind, like a video game), and all of my lucids are like that. wont some one help me as how to stop them or if they are normal!!!??? !!!???

I’ve also had a lot of lucid dreams since a young age. Nearly all before I even knew what they were and from what perspective they were supposed to be viewed. They have always been in 1st person as though it’s me actually there.
Though there is no reason why that should be the case, after all anything is possible in a dream.

My offered explanation is perhaps your not always very lucid and so your mind is more open to the impossible. (or maybe playing too many computer games jk)

EDIT- perhaps after knowing more about lucid dreams, the next time it happens you may be in 1st person, or if not you may find the ability to convince yourself change it.

I have ld's in 1st person, 3rd person, 2nd person, 4th person- you name it! I don't mind, it gives me the opportunity to view scenarios in a whole new perspective.
It's only beyond the gate that we realize what our dreams really are . . .

LDers can do anything, you could even be two people and talk to yourself - so I don't think its at all weird.

If its only like this with your LDs, you have one hell of a dreamsign.

      3rd person perspective

I've had some of those where I'm watching myself in a dream. Actually I see them (the dreams) like if I were in a movie and I am watching myself in the movie. I sometimes prefer these cause it's like a choose-your-own-adventure interactive movie.

Try focusing on objects in the dream and visualize yourself in that environment. If you focus you should be able to 'step' into the first person perspective. Kind of like steping into a movie/video game. Focus on one thing at a time and picture the environment being actually around you. You may even try closing your eyes, visualizing the 1st person perspective, and opening your eyes to the 1st person perspective.

Can you be sure it was 3rd person at the time? Or was it maybe a case of where it was in the 1st person, but looking back, it appears in the 3rd person? Similar to memories of waking life; for example, remembering something you did yesterday or last week, even though really it occurred in 1st person, looking back it often will take the appearance of happening in 3rd person (which arguably is the correct appearance and the way one would expect to remember it).
      Insanity is the new avant-garde.

most of mine are in 1st person (I can control my self in Lucid dreams) but I'm viewing my self from behind, and above. Some times, mostly when I'm flying, it goes into 1st person view.
