Hey all.
First time i write here altough i have been looking around the forum for a while.
I'm trying to achive lucid dreaming but it isnt being easy. Currently i'm writing a dream journal everyday so i can improve my dream recall and at the same time im trying to be able to WILD.
I've been trying to WILD for about a week now. What i normally do is stand still while laying on my back and wait and try to relax. But i think i never managed to get to sleep paralysis. I usually try it first time i went to bed and when i wake up in the middle of the night and go to the bathroom and then bed again.
The questions are:
-Should i try at all in the first time i get to bed? Or go to sleep and try when i get up in the middle of night?
-I tried laying on my back and on my side (usually sleep in this position) but while on my back i cant get asleep and on my side i think i get to sleep too fast. Any idea which position would suit my attempts better?
-In the last two nights my dream recall has been great (remembered about 3 dreams per night). Does this have to do with me trying to WILD? As i usually dont remember dreams so well and i've been keeping the journal for a while now but i have never had such a recall before. Is this a good signal?
-How frequently do u WILDers tend to be successful in your attempts? I mean, compared to DILD, WILDing gives u more control of when you are going to LD, right? That way u can have more lucid dreams WILDing than DILDing?
-At the start i used to do reality checks but i got tired of it as it wasnt helping me in the short time. Should i go back to it again? How should i use em in order to be able to remember while dreaming to do reality checks? What are the best RC?
Hope you can help me cause im still a newbie dreamer, lol.
