How do i not lose lucidity?

Okay, so everytime I lucid dream, it is just boring cause I never do anything fun. I usually know I'm dreaming then do something and forget that I am dreaming. How can I become MORE lucid?

Also if I rub my hands together, should I look at them?

I don't know if it's a problem of lucidity, you might be getting too involved in a task, which results in your lack of concentration, which results in you forgetting you're in a dream. So keep that in mind.

Once you become lucid you should always RC if you haven't already, that makes it official and builds confidence. There should never be any kind of doubt, clarity increasing techniques are also things you should do when becoming lucid. Stay focused and don't let your mind wander too much or you might lose lucidity.

Once you are lucid you should stabilize your dream make your environment more clear, take in the details, shout commands to assist you, kind of like sit back and take it all in until your ready to go sort of a thing. Rubbing your hands works very good, but some tips for when doing so are yes look at your hands, think of how it feels the friction, the sound, etc. The more you pay attention to what is happening the more vivid things become.

I have always had more trouble getting lucid than staying. What i do is just I focus on what i am doing I know i am dreaming so then i toy with the dream and figure out more of what i can do. I maintained an hour of lucidity a few weeks ago.

I have the same problem. I lucid dream almost nightly, but it always seems like the lowest quality, shortest lived lucid dream ever.

Well when you become lucid, immediately tell yourself thoroughly that it is a dream, and do some stabilization things. When doing something in a dream, you might think things like

      "Wow, this looks so real"
      "Well that's...strange..."

      NO, think

"Wow, this looks so real, hard to believe it's a dream..."
"Well that's...strange...well it is a dream so it probably would be"

You can take in the dream, but when you think, keep reminding that it's a dream in ways like that

      Hope I Helped
