hehe yep, I think this was the first thread I piped up in =).

AirRick, I now know I experience what is called low level lucidity basically every night, I am aware of myself, and consious, but I am unaware that I am dreaming, so I have limited abilities, and cannot paint the landscape and change where I am, unless I actually walk somewhere hehe or fly.

Its all I can remember I havent the foggiest how or why, I just do.

Full lucidity on the other hand I have had to put a little effort into the mix . =)

I wish I could contribue something to this. But the whole lucidity thing never really started anywhere. I've been fully lucid since I can remember, and I feel as though a part of me grew up in the Dreaming as well as here in the waking world. Lucius and I were talking about this a few days ago. I guess it's a natural talent for me? I don't really know. I hate to think of myself as having 'special talents' or whatever. I learned very early on in life not to talk about it. Now, however, it's different. I'm glad I've found folks that I can actually talk to without fear of them thinking that I'm a freak.

Wow... I was a noob in this thread too. This was back when I had my Elli avatar!

heh, that might explain why you and I seemed so familiar to one another when we first met, we grew up in the same neighborhood so to speak.

Would you guys say that everyone who lucid dreams enters the same "country," but it's greatly larger and far less populated so we rarely but ARE able to meet?

How awesome would it be if the dream world was actually like Tel'aran'rhiod, from WoT. Has anyone read those books? It would be great to have a world like that, except of course for the chance of dying once you're inside of it...

I have to say that I do LD every time I have a dream, yet my dreams come in groups so to speak. I do have to ask however about the continuing dreams thing, how do you do that exactly?

I almost never have nightmares from normal dreaming. As soon as I realize I'm dreaming my mind sends Hell after me. It's sort of like if I tell you not to think of a Pink Elephant. It's kind of hard not to think of that Pink Elephant. When I become aware that I'm dreaming I better get the fuck awake.

      Lovely dreams... EXACTLY...

Its an infinite expance it is populated by us sleepers and permanent residents... but there is a finite number of spirits inhabiting it so yeah its tricky to meet up with people.

There are cities though, where sleepers and the astral congregate, once you find them you can go back and you can see the same faces =)

Meeting up with another sleeper is hard because its not easy to be at the same place and time as some one you know here.

You who lucid dream everynight, was this somthing you worked up to or have you always been lucid. That is rather remarkable. I also question wether your concious ever gets a rest. Maybe you guys just have a good concious Are you fatigued?
There are institutes that would love to do research on you guys. The lucidity institute does research and I believe they have test & thing that you can partake in.

I have had a dry spell the last couple weeks, but generally I was lucid everytime that I got up for half an hour after 6 hours worth of sleep. Now I am kind of stressed out and all, and I just haven't been able to do it everytime I try. I have only had 2 LD's in the last 10 days....
      If I hadn't made me
I'd be more inclined to bow
Powers that be would have swallowed me up
But that's more than I can allow...

      nearly lucid every night...

I am almost always on the verge, between lucid and not. I am aware of the dream yet not enough to jump in and have fun with it. I watch most of my dreams from the standpoint of one watching a movie. very cool, but not quite lucid. I am working on it though. I have lucid dreams every once and awhile, a lot more when I am focusing on having them. You are blessed indeed with powerful dream magic if you go lucid every night.
      Cheers!
