You might just have to wait the sick period out. If you can't get a good night's sleep, your sleep itself is very unstable, as your body is trying to keep any sickness at bay. Stabilizing lucid dreams usually has the same sort of pointers--once you enter a dream, run your hands over your surroundings, shout "I'm dreaming," or turn around slowly and concentrate on building your environment. If you're waking up a lot or you can't concentrate enough to stay lucid, it's most likely the sickness that has to run its course. I would suggest just trying to sleep normally for a week (or however long getting sick lasts for you). Don't WBTB, if you use that technique. Personally, I'm always tired after a lucid dream, even though I was technically asleep. Try to catch up on sleep, don't mess up your sleep cycles, and hopefully being sick will pass so that you can get back to lucid dreaming. Good luck |
