      absence of dream characters

In dreams where I have DILDed and became conscious in a dream. The dream characters have mysteriously vanished. maybe it goes so because I know that I'm dreaming so my subconscious makes this automated "you (DC) are not real". I hope you are getting what I mean by this.

How can I make dream characters appear more consistently? Any pro tips?
Don't you just hate it when sentences don't end like you expected them to octopus.

Hello ADEzor. I suggest working on dream control perhaps? The more you practice, the more you will learn to summon dream characters. Dream control is in itself a skill one has to work on in order to get better at. If you cannot summon DCs with ease, I suggest trying out summoning small objects and animals first, and you can move on to people later on.

In the case of having DCs appear by default right at the beginning of the dream without summoning them, maybe you can try dream incubation? Or use mantras before bed such as "My dream characters will stay." or something along those lines. It may seem a bit hazy at first, but autosuggestion can really work wonders!

      Good luck, and happy dreaming

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
