So I finally got a lucid dream!

Buti can't remember how I realized that I was dreaming... I think I looked at my hands and just remembering that I do that triggered consciousness. But, I stopped doing reality checks so I'm not sure how I could've done that Ina a dream... Since I had one lucid dream, will it be easier to have more?

Once you've been able to experience the feeling of a lucid, you have opened the door to lucid dreaming. Once I had my first one, it's definitely become an easier concept to grasp.
Read many tutorials on here, find what works best for you, and stick with it.
Congratulations on the lucid and happy dreaming!

Congrats! Once you get your first lucid, even if it took months to get, you will now have them for frequently if you are as consistent with your techniques as you were before your first LD, if not more consitent. I hope you had fun in your first LD! And i would suggest to start back up with reality checking as well to increase frequency. Good luck!

      Congratulations on your first lucid!

That's the general idea. The more lucids you have, the easier it is to get lucid again!

I'd say if you've stopped doing reality checks, to start trying to do them again. Even if you don't become lucid -because- of one, it's still a good habit to have.
And yes, once you know the feeling and have put a bit of thought towards it, you're more likely to realize it/have it happen again. It's not major, but it takes a bit of the random hoping to become lucid out of the picture now that you know exactly what to aim for.
