Last night I had two main dreams. One non lucid and one lucid. The non-lucid was me at a friend's house, and that means my entire family. I'm not sure, but our entire family was there. That dream ended, and shortly after the Lucid started. I was on my couch at home, with the family, looking out the window (We have an awesome view, so it's easy to see where I'm at.) and I realize: "We aren't at my friend's house. Why is that, dad?" He says, "Nothing." I press him on it, gaining Lucidity rapidly. I storm off, 99% sure I was in a dream. I took note in the dream that everything was REALISTIC.

And when I say realistic I mean REALISTIC. I could feel the cold stone beneath my feet and the gush of air when I moved. I was eccentric. It felt so REAL. I ultimately realized I was lucid when I heard my brother moving around in the house, saying stuff, etc, and the doorbell rings. Who's there? My brother. I flip out and for sure realize I'm in a dream. I run outside barefooted and decide my first thing to do is move a try. Explode it, I'm not sure, something of the sort. I concentrate on the tree, trying to make it move, and making ridiculous hand motions like Aaang. NOTHING happens. Finally I try to close my eyes and open them, which then I realize that fatal mistake one second too late. I open them, and I'm in bed. Damn. I try to DEILD, getting the dream I just had and refocusing on the scene. Nothing. I'm starting to breathe really hard through my nose, (I'm a big guy) and it's making a shit ton of noise. I try and breathe through my mouth and it's getting dry, like really dry. I could feel the dryness. Of which then, after 2 minutes, I gave up. I tried to FILD, Nope.

How can I increase my dream control?
