You might try not closing your eyes. A lot of people say that when they close their eyes in a dream, it makes them wake up. |

Ive had a total of 8 lucid dreams now in about 40 nites, and 4 of them, ive tried the spinning technique, whether it was to try and stabalize a dream, or simple becuz i was bored of my surroundings and wanted to change them, and each time, I would close my eyes, begin to spin, feel the pull on my body, hten I would wake up...every time, I will just wake up. |

One thing I noticed when I realize im dreaming is, my eyes wont feel like they are fully open, so i'll try to open them all the way, and end up actually opening them in real life and then end up waking up. |

I noticed when i start to feel like im waking up or something because I have started to do things on my own I just let things go as they would without me doing me anything. For example putting something from auto pilot (you not lucid) manual pilot (you lucid) then when you are waking up try putting it back to auto pilot. |

Dream spinning doesnt work for me as well. Even worse, even saying "I want to stabilize and extend my dream" woke me up last time I said that. So I'm not very enthusiastic about trying to actively stabilize the dream. |

Every time I've tried spinning to stabalize a fading dream, it has worked wonders. Although, I tend to get too excited about being lucid and try to do everything at once, so the lucidity doesn't last long. For example, one time I found myself in my living room when I became lucid. I immediately spun in a few circles, watching my feet, and the reality tone increased dramaticaly. I got realy excited and ran accross the walls of the room, then proceeded to tell my Dad that I was dreaming, thinking it was actualy him, ergo, lucidity faded. |
