Are you able to easily exert dream-powers in dreamscapes which represent your waking life?

I think there's a relation between this difficult to exert certain dream-powers in dreamscapes which seem to be too real because of they are representing some places from my waking life, specially when I become lucid during a FA.

For me, after stabilizing the dream, before I try to use any power without loosing control, I must first, break the chains which are telling me that's my real world. The easy way I found is by start flying after a long jump.

most of my dreams take place in a real world location and i've never had a problem with exerting control. dreaming is a very pesonel thing and everyone differs though. as i frequently say, practice will inevitably make perfect, so eventually, you should be able to have near complete control without many problems. that said, dont neglect stabilization.

that's what I recently saw, before I realized this flying thing it was very hard to gain control over those dreams, but I could say it has become easier after that. Perhaps at the beginning one must work on the way one perceives reality and dreams, then could start trying more advanced skills.
