      Personal Methods for Shape-Shifting

Hi DV! I've noticed a lot people have asked about shape-shifting, mostly about how to successfully do it. In fact, a few of you have messages me about because you've seen my success in dreams, so for those who need a little bit of help please continue to read! So, shape-shifting, what kind of learning curve is there to it? Well, let me say this is not a beginners method. At least it wasn't for me. Some people can do it like naturals like others can do some methods like born naturals. However, if you're like me, this method will take time to learn, some trial and error, and dedication. Don't worry, I'm just typing a lot, its not as complicated as I out it out to be!!! So lets get into my method for beginners.

      Things You Should Do Beforehand

The first step to being a successful shape-shifter is having confidence. If anything, confidence is the most important factor in any type of lucid methods. Be confident, and with faith you will be shape-shifting and whatever else in no time at all. Next, I'd recommend stabilizing the dream. Usually doing things that require a lot of brain work tend to not fair well with you in a very vivid dream. So I'd recommend that you do some stabilization first. One method is rubbing your hands together. Another method is spinning around. And my personal favorite, is falling backwards. I don't know why, but whenever I've tried this one my dreams have become crisp clear with detail and control. I personally recommend the third option. Also, I'd look into All Day Awareness, which is taking awareness of all five senses as much as possible in the day, which will help make dreams more clear, and even help you become lucid more. But I went on a tangent, so back to the real talk.

So, next I would recommend working on changing other things first. If you can't change your surroundings or simply spawn the smallest of things, then how will you change your own appearance???? So I'd suggest you take time to practice these things. Start with spawning in simple things to your realm. Guns, bananas, cars, etc. This shouldn't take more than a few dreams to get down unless you're some lucid dreaming prodigy who gets it down first try! Next try the bigger stuff, like changing the scenery. Try the door method, portals, mirrors, turning around, closing your eyes(my least recommended). Using these and believing and visualizing the changes with your faith will in fact change the scene or spawn things in. After you've gotten this down, it's your turn to change yourself!!!!

      Methods for Shapeshifting

So, now that you've learned the art of spawning and changing scenery, you can change yourself! Now, it isn't required that you learn those things before hand, but they will certainly help in the long run. So, how do you shape-shift exactly? Simply, you just imagine yourself as the object or being you want to be, have faith, and watch yourself transform! Now, there are various ways you can perform these transformations. I will share some methods I've never tried and ones I've used regularly, and ones I think should work the same as spawning and scene changing.

      Blind Change:
There's probably some others who've done this one, I just don't know a proper name to it. This is my personal favorite method for shape-shifting. Basically, take a look at yourself, just look down and observe your clothes and whatnot. Now look up and make sure you can't see any part of yourself anymore. Now try hard to think of yourself of what you want to be. Now you should have changed when you look at yourself again!

      Spinning Change:
This one will be like one of those cheesy cartoons and movies where people can spin around and transform. Simply begin spinning around like a top and imagine your new form, and don't forget that confidence!!! Now stop spinning when you've imagined it, and you should have changed by now.

      Door/Portal Method:
This one is simple. Walk through a door or portal while imagining your new form and you should change. I'd use this for scene changing rather than shape-shifting in all honesty, but if you want to try then go right ahead!

      Closed-Eye Method:
I think the title says it all. Close your eyes and imagine your new form. When you open them you should be in your new form! Now, I personally cannot suggest this method either. If you've ever tried anything with closed-eye before you should be well aware this one method loves to wake you up for some reason. I've commonly found myself waking up if I close my eyes in dreams. Now some people don't suffer from this problem, so if you're one of them, then go for it!

      Just Fucking Transform Method:
Now this one is for when you've pretty much mastered shape-shifting. And to put it in simple words, you just imagine your form and transform like that. This one is probably the hardest one, because I like to think of shape-shifting, spawning, and scenery change like magic tricks. You never really see the actual change occur. I've managed to reach a point though where I'm being able to see the change without having to use any methods. This is very difficult and could take some time to start doing. But basically, when you reach this point you'll be shape-shifting like its second nature, and no method really required. And yes, the title of this one is a joke.

      Conclusion

So, after a good amount of time of painfully typing this on an ipad in bed our little guide to shape-shifting comes to end. Shape-shifting is a fun time, and opens countless opportunities to your lucid dreaming experience. I'm not trying to advertise, but if you'd like, you can dig through some of my experiences with shape-shifting in my dream journal. Maybe reading up will help a little, I don't know for sure. But I can say it's worth the practice, and provides so much more fun possibilities in your dreams. And remember to not over think this. This guide may seem very complicated at points but its really not. This is simply an in depth guide to the methods of shape-shifting. It's simple, fun, and interesting. So, enjoy your experience shape-shifting!

As I was drawing portals on the walls just to see where they lead, here and there as a kid with a new crayon (actually it was a candle), I could try the portal method to accomplish some of my shape shifting goals due to it seems to be the simplest method of all and it fits to my recently accomplished lucid goal too.

I usually do something different: I take a jump forward like I was jumping to slide on ice but I land on all fours and viola! I'm a (insert animal here)! (I've never tried turning into another person though which is something I'd like to try)
      My personal tasks:
of the week:transform into a dragon and learn to play the guitar with my dragon tongue ( )
of the month: turn all my friends into wolves and become their queen ( )
ride on a hippogriff over Skyrim with my crush ( )
Meet Freddie Mercury and sing "under pressure" with
him and David bowie ( )

Maybe it's a dream and if I scream, it will burst at the seams.
