      Uncontrollable dream

      Hi everyone,
I'm still a beginner, I've only had like three lucid dreams for the moment and they were blurry and short.
Anyway, I took a nap this afternoon in order to do a WILD. I failed my attempt and fell asleep but something weird happened. It's hard to describe: there was a scenery in my head that could be a dream but it was like I was just imagining it in my head, so I opened my eyes, expecting to find out that I haven't fallen asleep.
I was in my bed, but it was very weird, as though my vision was buggy. When I tried to look at my hands, I just couldn't. But aside from that, I could see the details on my wall, touch it and feel it as though it was real. I was hardly able to move and I felt like my back was bent. I tried to "fix" it by shouting "clarity now" but nothing happened. I kept struggling and finally decided to fall backwards to wake up (and it worked !).
What do you advice me to do in this kind of dream, or has it ever happened to anyone ?
      Thanks

By choosing to fall over and wake up, you've demonstrated that you have some control over the dream. To develop more, I would recommend reminding yourself that it is your mind and your imagination. In waking life you can control your imagination to a degree and the same is true when lucid. For the specific example of clarity, I would recommend not shouting, but mentally willing it to be clear. Mental methods, from my experience, are more effective than "physical" ones. Remain calm, stern and determined, without being frustrated or aggressive. I feel that you always have the potential to be in absolute control.
