      object morphing

has anyone experienced objects morphing beyond your control? for example the other night in a lucid dream i was attempting to play a saxaphone. by the time i picked it up and started to play i realized that all i was doing was biting down on a long loaf of french bread that was being held like a sax.

      has anyone had similar experiences?

That happens to me sometimes, it usually causes me to lose lucidity like once I was walking down the hall and I ended up in my kitchen and my family was there and there was like this weird portal/mirror kind of thing so I go over to it and try to see what it was and then it turned into a cake and my family convinces me to eat and a i get caught up in the experience and forget I am dreaming. Other times it just makes me forget what I was doing.

exactly, in this last dream, once i realized that i was biting on the bread i sat down and started eating a meal with some people, which made me lose lucidity.

I can't say that's happened often with me, but I do remember one lucid dream where I was attempting to make out with a DC (don't worry, it was consensual), and they suddenly morphed into some kind of dragon-like creature. That was pretty strange, but since I was lucid I didn't let it freak me out -- just decided to do something else.
