well, keep trying or give up...

few people can just suddenly start LDing every night. it takes practice...

Keep at it. Even the best of us have to work for lucidity once in awhile. Don't let your inability beat you. Keep practicing, and I promise you will have results eventually.

Was that on the weekends? I usally have my lucids on the weekends, more relaxed during the day I guess. And for me they come in twoses

Well, are you waking up after becoming lucid, or are you just losing lucidity. Both can be approached different ways.

If you're waking up, the main thing to do is when you become lucid, just relax. Feel yourself in the dream and keep in mind any changes that feel like you might be waking up. At first I wasn't sure what rubbing your hands together would do, but it actually does help keep you in the dream. In my last LD, I felt like I was going to wake up rubbing my hands together, but then I remembed that I was probably still lying down motionless. Just remain focused on the dream world.

If you're losing lucidity, that will just take practice. One thing you can do is to constantly repeat to yourself that you are dreaming. You could even have some of your dream characters remind you. But you'll get it eventually. Just remain confident of that

      what techniques.....?

i sent you a PM (personal message) but if you didn't get it or if you aren't used to it or anything i'll just ask you here because i want to help as many people as possible

what techniques have you been using? and how?

for example if you use reality checks is it just a simple 'yes or no - i'm dreaming or not' or do you go deeper than that? -- if i can get an idea based on your answer - i can help you improve on your technique - just click on 'post on a reply'
