It sounds like what you are experiencing is Sleep Paralysis -- it's sort of a limbo between being asleep and awake. Your mind is aware, but your body is still "asleep". It's a perfectly normal body function, and although it may seem scary if you don't understand it, it's harmless, and in fact can lead to lucid dreams if you can get through it without panicking. Sleep Paralysis is a critical step when attempting the WILD method of lucid dream induction. |
