Your lucky, I would do anything to be lucid every night! But no I'm sorry I don't lucid dream every night. |

I was wondering if anyone else is lucid every night because I am. I find it a little weird because I lucid dream every night and i never met anyone else who does. |

Thanx for the info, i guess i am lucky, But thats to a point though. but anyway, thanx for your post. |

I am lucid almost each time I fall asleep. -I'd say about 95% of the time anyway. I think that I have learned ways (both unconsciously and consciously) to attain lucidity. Sometimes I can begin a dream where I left off in the last one even after waking up. Sometimes this is not a good thing (if the dream is negative). |
|
I agree, sometimes I can go back to a dream and finish it to, but like you said, sometimes thats not good. |
|
Just a question... I once heared that if you are having a lucid dream and you go and talk to someone who is also in a lucid dream you two can be in the same dream together... Has that really happened to any of you? I just thought I'd ask cause both of you lucid dream a lot. |

I've never heard anything about that, but I have entertained the same idea. Sometimes lucid dreams are so realistic that I may be confused as to whether I am awake or asleep, so when I see someone that I recognize and I know that I am dreaming, I sometimes believe during the dream that I am sharing the dream with them. I always discount that notion when I wake up though. |

I am. I just found this site today. I've been practicing a few of the techniques listed on the home page like reality testing. Basically i'll fall asleep and start dreaming when I do I look at my fingernails and imagine them growing. If they grow I know i'm dreaming, then I start runnin a muck! |

Hi =) just found this forum myself as well. You are not alone, I have been a lucid dreamer since I can remember, I didnt realize it when I was a kid and everyone kinda looked at me funny when I told them about my dreams... they still look at me funny now that I think of it |

Evangel, what i mean is the period of time you recall in the dream, sometimes its ony a few moments or hours but sometimes I have dreams that it feels as if years have past, I cannot wake myself from them either. |

I dream EVERY time I sleep, even if it is a catnap. I can relate to Serinanth in terms of falling asleep here and waking up there (see many Worlds Within post). The only drawback to this is that I never seem to lose consciousness. I am ALWAYS aware, and I must admit that it makes my life seem stretched out. I have used heavy sedatives and tried seriously inebriating myself just to shut everthing off, but it never worked. I just ended up having distorted lucid dreams. The main problem is that I have recall for about 98% of my dreams. I can remember most of my dreams from age six on. I'm 38 and a bit tired. |

Not always. I have a high metabolism and I produce a great deal of body heat when I sleep. I talk as well as move when I dream. |
|
lol Ive been reffered to as a furnace myself 8) My body seems to do a good job of resting a bit while im off galavanting in some other world though. |

This is kinda hard question. Makes me think... I dont recall everynight but nine times out ten when i do recall its lucid. There are times im lucid dreaming and just dont really do much with it, its like im tired or something. And if i consume large quanities of beer forget about recalling im to hung over to be thinking about dreams i need some food. |

scott I dont know if two people can both be lucid and dream the same thing, but in my dream last night I was trying to tell the people around me that it was all just a dream and no one beleived me, but one guy said I know I'm just dreaming too and handed me a giant blunt....I'm not being sarcastic....did anyone hand me a blunt last night? |

Shared dream do happen, I've been lucky enough to have one... I duno if it was lucky though seemed to piss some things off and I got into trouble =/ |

So do you think it was actual real person somewhere, or merely a figment of my imagination....I guess that's something I'll never know? It would be really something if the people in our dreams are really other people dreaming. |
|
Well thats the thing, the person you met you do not know in the waking world, when you meet somone in dream that you know you can ask them. Perhaps you will meet this person in the future? who knows. |

It could have been a real person. People appearing in the land of dreams don't often appear as you know them in the waking world. I rarely ever look like myself in my dreams. In fact, most of the time I look like my avatar over there. =) |

i lucid dream and lucid meditate...quite odd at first, when you think you're alone, but look at all these cool froods, i mena, they're really doin it! |
