Try putting on a pair of glasses, or taking them off if you already wear them. I don't get eye problems too much in dreams, but that technique always helps me. |

Last night, I had a dream. I was playing soccer/football (the one with the white/black ball). Then, I was playing football(the one with the brown ball). I had to be the quaterback for some reason, and my players were running down the field. I tried to throw the ball to them with all my strength, but I overshot them and hit some soccer players on the next field. Then toppled over. Eventually, my parents congratulated me (for hitting the soccer players lol) and took me home. While at home, my friend's mom was dressed in this Harry Potter cloak to help me finish the Harry Potter parody I was making. I thought, oh boy another person! |

Is it possible that you're moving too fast? Instead of suddenly turning around, just take it a little bit slower. |

"If there was one thing the lucid dreaming ninja writer could not stand, it was used car salesmen."
This happened again last night too... I was lucid for maybe a minute, and again I am greeted with the eyelids (I'm almost sure it was a false awakening). Luckily I fell back into the dream lucid again in about 2 seconds.... |

This is what i did. Remember, the "dreamline" is like a timeline. There are certain stages. So when you fall out of the dreaming stage, for a few moments you are in the stage just below it. When the "vivid" dream disappears, immediately focus on the HI. Let it overwhealm you vision. After i did that, the blackness turned to blueness and i reentered the dream. It may not work for you, however. |

Remember to look at your hands periodically and stare at them for a few seconds. |

My last Twenty or So lucids have all been like that. I'd become lucid for all of three seconds and feel myself pulled away. I've tried spinning, hand rubbing, taking it slow as I became lucid waiting for it to stabilize, becoming active as soon as I notice it...Nothing yet. None of those work. Almost enough to make you want to give up, eh? |
|
I've got another question about stabalizing dreams. I've only had a few lucid dreams, all pretty short, and only recently heard about "stabalizing". So the last couple of times I've tried it by rubbing hands, and shouting Lucidify etc, but nothing happened. |
|
well for me i used to spin and i would wake up instantly but when i rubbed my hands together (furiously) everything became clear again, like when i first realized i was lucid then i would slowly start to become disoriented in a way but when i rubbed my hands together it was like going back to when i realized i was lucid |
|
I rubed my hands to gether and it didnt make it any clearer but it stoped it from fading |

As waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown. These waves of plastic fame go out of fashion, You're going out (going out) forever unknown.
From above a rain of ashes descends anathema. I will remain, forever will remain. From below, in my seclusion, look up to the sky to see See paper wings and watch them burn.
Oh well i guess for each their own, but was also helps me is reminding myself every few minutes im dreaming and looking in spots above or below my normal line of vision |

I just awoke from a chain of false awakenings that ended in a very vivid lucid dream. I stabalized the dream by rubbing the skin between my forefinger and my thumb of my left hand with the thumb and forefinger of my right hand. On occasion I pinched a bit. That worked very well and I haven't had such a vivid lucid dream before. Rubbing my hands never worked well for me. Maybe something along these lines where the physical sensation is slightly more intense, like soft pinching. |
