Last night, I had a dream. I was playing soccer/football (the one with the white/black ball). Then, I was playing football(the one with the brown ball). I had to be the quaterback for some reason, and my players were running down the field. I tried to throw the ball to them with all my strength, but I overshot them and hit some soccer players on the next field. Then toppled over. Eventually, my parents congratulated me (for hitting the soccer players lol) and took me home. While at home, my friend's mom was dressed in this Harry Potter cloak to help me finish the Harry Potter parody I was making. I thought, oh boy another person!

Then I stopped. I thought no way she would help me, and I did I nose RC and became lucid, while on my driveway. I tried for the 3rd time to summon an object (first 2 times were successful). I was going to use willpower, intend for it to happen, and visualize it, like the other times. But as soon as I said "willpower" the dream dissapeared and I found myself staring at my closed eyelids. The dream was gone. I'm not sure if this was a FA or a real awakening, but shortly, I was in the dream again, lucid. I was still in my extremly unvivid driveway (ironically, for the first time in my life I took 50 mg of B6 about 1 hour before this dream). I tried walking around.... but I twisted my head to fast and was greeted with the closed eyelids. Shortly after, I again fell back into the dream, lucid. This time I was in this wierd science room. I looked at the floor... boom eyelids again. This must of happened at least 5 times.

Stuff like that has also happened in most of my recent lucid dreams. How can I make my dreams stable? I mean... I think they are too unstable to succeed with dreams spinning.

Try putting on a pair of glasses, or taking them off if you already wear them. I don't get eye problems too much in dreams, but that technique always helps me.

Is it possible that you're moving too fast? Instead of suddenly turning around, just take it a little bit slower.

I've also found that rubbing my hands together or generally remaining mobile can help keep me in the dream fairly well, so you could try that. Just make sure you are able to retain lucidity.

(That's all I got)

This happened again last night too... I was lucid for maybe a minute, and again I am greeted with the eyelids (I'm almost sure it was a false awakening). Luckily I fell back into the dream lucid again in about 2 seconds....

Oh yeah and I finally got to summon that donut I wanted.

This is what i did. Remember, the "dreamline" is like a timeline. There are certain stages. So when you fall out of the dreaming stage, for a few moments you are in the stage just below it. When the "vivid" dream disappears, immediately focus on the HI. Let it overwhealm you vision. After i did that, the blackness turned to blueness and i reentered the dream. It may not work for you, however.

Remember to look at your hands periodically and stare at them for a few seconds.

Last night, I kept looking at my hands
and I had stubby twisted fingers and a green-blue vein coming out from the side of my hand.
It definitely reminded me that I was dreaming.

My last Twenty or So lucids have all been like that. I'd become lucid for all of three seconds and feel myself pulled away. I've tried spinning, hand rubbing, taking it slow as I became lucid waiting for it to stabilize, becoming active as soon as I notice it...Nothing yet. None of those work. Almost enough to make you want to give up, eh?

I've got another question about stabalizing dreams. I've only had a few lucid dreams, all pretty short, and only recently heard about "stabalizing". So the last couple of times I've tried it by rubbing hands, and shouting Lucidify etc, but nothing happened.

I think this is because I don't know what is MEANT to happen? Does your view suddenly become sharper, do you start feeling clearly or what?

I know how to stabalize a dream, I just don't know what happens when I do, which is why it's failing.

Cheers for help.

well for me i used to spin and i would wake up instantly but when i rubbed my hands together (furiously) everything became clear again, like when i first realized i was lucid then i would slowly start to become disoriented in a way but when i rubbed my hands together it was like going back to when i realized i was lucid

I just awoke from a chain of false awakenings that ended in a very vivid lucid dream. I stabalized the dream by rubbing the skin between my forefinger and my thumb of my left hand with the thumb and forefinger of my right hand. On occasion I pinched a bit. That worked very well and I haven't had such a vivid lucid dream before. Rubbing my hands never worked well for me. Maybe something along these lines where the physical sensation is slightly more intense, like soft pinching.

Unfortunately, some pharmaceutical company pumped an ad into my dream, telling me that I was losing all thought processes and I should try Hyzonia. Then I awoke.
