Well, when I realize im dreaming, i always get excited and wake up, or my vision starts getting blurry and other frustrating things. Also if i try to make something appear i just cant do it

any tips on maintaining lucidty and also getting over the vision thing, and helping me make something appear?

There are two common things people do to maintain lucidity. Some people spin around on the spot. The spinning is supposed make everything more vivid and prolong the dream somehow. But it could initiate false awakenings. I, myself, use the rubbing hands technique. All you do is aggressivly rub your hands together really fast. The warmth from the friction makes the dream more real, making things more vivid and prolonging the dream. Either one works great.

Making something appear just takes time like any skill. The first thing is believing it's there like you believe you have 5 fingers. Say I want to see a dog. I'll walk around a corner, imagining that dog there, and most of the time I'll see it. Or walking through a door and doing the same thing.

But basically it comes down to how much you believe it to be there.

I say spinning is bad. I tried that and my LD went out the window though I knew it was a dream and was quite firm on that belief even while spinning. When the scenery changed, I forogt everything about my moment of lucidity or even the previous dream. That really sucked.

As for your hand rubbing technique, I'd have to say it's ingenious. Never tried it before but I'll surely try it tonight, sounds like it'd work real good when you're slipping out of lucidity.

I have difficulty in maintaining lucidity for more than a few minutes. I have tried spinning, hand rubbing, body rubbing, looking at the floor and my hands. They all work and increase the vividness for a short time, but then the dream just seems to fade unexpectedly and very quickly, and at that point when I decide to try a technique its just too late. Any suggestions?

Try just shouting out "Lucidity now!" or "Increase lucidity!" and see if that works.

      Always helps me. o.o
