Well, there are cases where when you become aware that you're dreaming, you tend to slip into this sort of limbo where you're still dreaming, but you feel your physical body... usually when people become lucid does this most commonly occur. |

So last night was probably only like my 4th lucid... that i can remember anyways. but in my dream (i think in real life i was feeling a blanket on my face) it felt like there was this furry rope thing wrapped around my head. i couldn't take it off and it was blocking most of my view... i could only partly see around it. then i "woke up" but really had a false awakening... and am talking to my friend about my lucid and then all of a sudden accidentally touch her hand and realize its like furry... she kind've looks like a giant stuffed animal. im like grabbing at her fur and trying to tell if shes human or not but that things is back on my face! and i couldn't SEE! i was like ahhh why cant i see wake up. then i had another false awakening... and this time the thing was gone. is there anyway to in your dream make something like that go away? |

Creativity is the only weapon left in the war against reality

Try to remember that in lucid dreams there's no such thing as "physical" body. So you are not limited by it in any way. If something is wrapped around your head - lose the head. "Shift" your perspective a couple feet forward or try using your mind rather than your dream eyes to see... It is possible to exist in a LD as a pure point of awareness with no body whatsoever. Once you need the body it will manifest itself. It's hard to explain and I'm fairly sure it would be somewhat different for you. But the point is - in a lucid dream you only reinforce obstacles by focusing on them. If you ignore them and shift your focus to something else the obstacles fade in the background and then disappear... |
