That's pretty cool. I was flying in my dream once (non-lucid) and then started become lucid and it became much harder for me to start flying. I had to start jumping off of things and was still only half lucid (if that makes sense) until I couldn't fly at all and woke up. |

..don't ask.</div>
Cool. In my lucid dream I seemed to have perfectly fine control over my flight, it was the first thing I did once I became lucid. but in some past dreams in childhood I've had dreams where I can float around but i suddenly start losing the ability and I'm grasping at the air trying to keep floating. Glad Those dreams haven't returned ^_^ |

The reason many find it so hard to fly is, they associated flying with jumping... and when you start jumping, guess whats going to happen... your gonna jump. The most successful fliers are ones who do it like they've seen other things do it. Superman style, bird style, swimmer style, and classic levitation are some of the best ways to start. Its much easier to start flying, than to start jumping and try to fly. |

Yeah, the first time I flew was amazing. I was in a store in an isle and i just took off running, dove forward and pulled a Superman. I was not high off of the ground and after a little bit I started to get lower and lower to the ground. When that started to happen, I just focused on what I was doing and just launched myself into the air. It was so crazy. I was flying all over the store in the middle of the night while everyone was sleeping in the isles. I lost lucidity somewhere during flight but had the ability to fly for the rest of the dreams that night lol. Didn't strike me as odd at all |

I can officially confirm that I have the ability to fly at will now! (though I've been doing it too much recently and it's lost some of its initial thrill - outer space the next step?) |
