Hey guys! I had a lucid last night where I was on a boardwalk (kinda looked like Ocean City). I realized I was in a dream and I knew suddenly I've never tried to fly. I mentally knew I would fly, and I began to float. I then flew up above the clouds. It was truly amazing! :yumdumdoodledum:

I love flying dreams! Looking forward to a LD. It's the first thing I'll be doing!

Is that OC in MD? Been there many times!

cool, well done...

I also just had my first flying dream last night (unfortunately it was more like floating)...

I was jumping around and then I remembered something like "just jump and don't come down" so I jumped and stayed floating about 2 meters off the ground. Then I tried swimming through air and it didn't work, I tried superman style, nothing. Then the dream changed to something else and I was not floating any more. It was cool though... any tips on how to move when floating?

It's been a while since I've dreamt about flying but the sequence would go something like this: First, I would lift my arms and feel a slight breeze which would lift me up. Then, it seems like I would go wherever the breeze took me but somehow I would make the breeze go in a direction I wanted to go. Once I was flying around for a while I could just go wherever I wanted - breeze or no breeze. Later it would become difficult to get up into the air. I don't recall if that was because there was less breeze or I just became heavier or unaffected by the breeze.

Sogart, I hadn't really thought about "how" I fly til I read your post.

I normally just look up in the direction that I want to go and think "up". When I say I think "up".. I mentally state "up" in my head.. with no doubt.. no hesitation.. it is not a request.. it is a command. My arms are usually at my sides and I fly as if shot out of a cannon. LOL!

It might also be helpful to get a running start or to try jumping from a high place and simply willing yourself to fly/float.

I truely believe that lucid control is all about attitude and the strong BELIEF that you have NO limits and that whatever you desire is yours if you simply demand/command and expect it.

Doe's anybody ever move object's through the air with they're mind?
I do all the time. I use the same method to move myself through the air.
I have perfect control with this method, and can move at any speed.

I would suggest to any beginner, that they should try practicing with
reaching out with threy're thought's, and moving object's with they're
mind. You can actualy feel the object with your mind, and send it floating
through the air. Once you know how it feel's to do this, It is a simple
matter to move yourself the same way. And you become an instant
master of flight.
