Also, when I did this, all my dream characters looked at me. It was a tad bit embaressing.

Well, I study the surroundings and put use to my senses, it really helps not only with the clarity but my control as well. I find that when I do that, I pretty much can do anything I think of without a hitch.

I'd like to report in real quick that in the past 7 days I've had 3 lucid dreams, 2 wbtb and 1 Wild during a nap

unfortunately I still don't stay lucid very long and the most recent one I simply lost lucidity and remained in the dream as opposed to waking up. I have noticed however that with each lucid I'm gaining more control. In the most recent lucid dream that I had this morning I licked two different things as well as studying a few different objects. I don't think I had as much control as I'd like since I probably would have studied more stuff to ground myself instead of trying to turn my closet into a doorway to the nice sandy beaches of aurba thus losing lucidity.

One thing I have noticed is I can see my judgement or lucidity becoming cloudy when I try to do simpler things so I still need to work on grounding myself some how. Maybe talking to myself more like 'this is a dream, I am god of my mind and can do anything I want'...

In the 2nd lucid dream I had I actually did state 'I am god of this dream' but I got excited and woke up =\ I guess I'll just have to keep working at it

I don't think you can make something like that work for 20 minutes.
