when I black out I just think of that dream and it ussaly comes back |

The last few times I've become lucid in a dream it has been very lame, and after becoming very excited I start paying attention to my heartbeat. After a few seconds I blacked out. It doesn't seem like I actually woke up immediately after blacking out though. |

In our dreams, our subconscious enacts what we think. It seems that you have a preconceived idea that you will "black out" if you become lucid. Just forget about that, your always in control of your dream. Believe in what you want and you'll get it, it's that simple. |

I agree with spartiate, if u believe it will happen, it will. |

There is no real-life, there is only AFK.
Very good advice already! |

Ooh, this happened to me. I lost all vision in the dream, it went black. But I was still in it. I could feel and hear things. I stayed in this state and waited, and I actually went right back to where I was before. I can't believe how steady my lucid dreams can get. |

The trick is to not get excited when becoming lucid. You have to continue as if it is only natural and what should be happening. When I become lucid, a wave of calm instantly washes over me and from there I can start controlling things. |
