      Heartrate Problem

Ok, I just had a WILD 2 nights ago and my heart rate is up so high lately, I cant calm down. I cant shake the EXTREME feeling of weightlessness / tickle feeling during the transition. My heart rate was sky rocketing during that stage and I got so freaked out that I woke myself up. When I got up my heart was pounding so hard. Now, I didn't get much sleep after that and then went to school... my heart rate has been so high for the past 2 days.. when ever I think of anything pertaining to a dream my heart rate goes up alot, maybe its because Im just too excited.

I want to be able to be calm for a few days before I try it again. I know my heart is gonna speed up so fast, II just don't know what to do. I try to breath slowly with my stomach, try to think of other stuff, but it doesn't work.

Remember that I didn't actually go into a dream because I was so freaked out by the feelings. Do you think I will become calmer throught the day if I make myself do a WILD again and not exit, and enter a dream? I think I'm just scared of what eas going to happen next, maybe I need to face my fears and go through the entire process?

I also had a similar problem when I began. Im guessing your just beggining, because its normal with people who are just beggining. I'm guessing your body is panicking cause you never felt those sensations before. What you need to do is keep practicing, and little by little it will get slower. Now when I WILD, my heartbeat never changes!

I find when I experience proper Sleep Paralysis I usually have a racing heart beat, but I guess it could be weird for people experiencing HI/HS for the first time too.

Actually, I've felt them in a dream from when I was about 7, I got that feeling by relaxing in my dream. I think you're on the right track, saying that I'm going all nervous because I never felt that stuff before.... Its just I've never felt them when still awake, able to see my room, and feel my heartbeat, I felt half awake.

So you think the best thing for me to do is maybe wait a few days and try a WILD again? Or should I just go ahead tonight and try it? I have no real apparent issues falling asleep in the past 2 days, after my experience, its just during the day I have like constant stress.

ALSO, here is one big question, If I try for a WILD again, should it be after I wake up after sleeping for about 4 hours? I know I can do it right when I go to bed, but am not sure if that'll produce any dreams... And when the WILD happens, I should have my eyes closed right? What happens if u leave them open? Does Sleep paralysis occur where all the bad stuff comes into ur room?

Ok, last night I was laying in bed, trying to go to sleep at my normal time, not focusing on anything. I started to feel like I was going into SP because my stomach area started to feel sooooo weightless. I snapped myself outta it, but it happened another 3 times... I was like wth! If anyone knows the answers to my questions above, I'd GREATLY appreciate them being answered
