      My powers...GONE!

Ok so yesterday I had a lucid dream, and I had another one today.
I was in a dark room in both dreams, and I wanted to teleport to a certain place to chat with my subconscious.

But...my powers were gone! I closed my eyes to imagine my destination, but when I opened them again I was still in that little room... I tried everything to leave that room or summon my subconscious but I was powerless.

In the second LD I was lying in my bed when I started dreaming...about me lying in bed. It was pitch black in my room and I couldn't see anything. It was also really cold. I became lucid (nose RC) and tried to teleport while staying in bed. When I realized that I couldn't leave my room using powers I knew that I had to get up and do it the old-fashioned way..walking.
But when I moved one muscle I woke up.
The LD started the second I closed my eyes, so perhaps the dreamscape wasn't fully formed yet and was a little (very) unstable?

I've had LD's before in which I had total control.

      Ideas, anyone?
      Current projects:
      -Acquire the Aurora
      -Test galatamine, huperzine and choline
-Find smartwatch app for RC reminders at certain intervals
-Ressurect my dream log here, and become more active

Don't worry about it Tim, some lucid dreams have great control while others have very little. Maybe next time you will ave control, so don't let it bother you.

I think it depends on a lot of things going on in your brain/body, particularly if you're "tired" (I know it doesn't make sense, you're asleep right?...). I also have lots of those wake-up-in-bed LDs where you can't do anything. It's a hell of a pisser :S

You could always try to do a WILD in your LD, it has worked for me before in the same situation.

If you try to do an LD then the second dream may have control.

Sometimes powers just disappear for one dream, but are there again in the next. It think it has to do with the level of lucidity. It'll come back fast.

A good way to escape from a room if your stuck in it, is DO NOT LOOK UP, and then Jump as hard as you can, and just try to fly up and out of the room without looking at the ceiling. If you don't know how high it is, you should go right through it. Or, another way, close your eyes, and stand at one end of the room, and run full speed forward. Using the same concept as the cieling, if you don't know where the end of the wall is, you should continue right through it.
