That would get annoying though, because I'd have to consciously keep creating yellow rings. Unless that is just the take off method. |

If anyone has ever played a NiGHTS game (if you haven't, heres the link http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uW8Ulku0u2k) what I do is instead of just trying to fly, I look for those yellow rings. When I see them (if you are expecting to see something you usually do) I know I can fly through them, and voila, im flying! This has worked for me flawlessly. |

I didn't fly on my first lucid dream, but I did manage to teleport. I have experienced flying a few months ago, but I never seem to "think" about flying. |

OP: I know what you're getting at, even though its hard to explain. |

The trick is just to realize how easy flying is. If you think, "Oh, woe is me, I can't fly because it's hard," then Duh! You are never going to fly. |

I have found flying comes easy at a place where flying would be wonderful. Flying over the Grand Canyon, over the islands of Hawai'i, or over New York City. But I have found if I'm in an environment that's boring (my small town for example) the need to fly takes a back seat. |

Think of jumping. How high can you jump? Very high! |
