Sorry that I can't help you with your problem... I would but when I actually get control of my dream(which is rare), Im not even in control long enough to talk to anybody. In your situation with talking, I have no experience. I had trouble moving around before, but I think Im over that now. Don't try to hard though or you might wake yourself. Just try to take in your surroundings and enjoy your awareness while it lasts...

Again... sorry that I can't really help.

Next time, just try to take in all your surroundings and completely relax. This tends to add vividness and more control. Then calmy think of your mouth opening and shutting as if it was normal. Then attempt to speak.

Or try something really strange like making a sock puppet and let your voice come out through it's mouth.

      It could work.

One thing I always try to keep in mind during LD's is that there's more than one way to skin a cat (and the cat's not likely to enjoy any of them).

But seriously, if you can't do something that should be possible, then try doing it another way. If you can't talk, then try thinking audibly with the intent that the DC's are going to be able to hear you.

It's too easy to get caught up with a particular failure to do something in an LD, and get worked up about it, ultimately degrading the lucid experience.

So the short version is this, if you can't do something in an LD that should be possible, try doing it impossibly.
