Anyone ever had the problem of always having this certain...same...starting point after they enter an LD via WILD?

All my WBTB/WILDs start with me hopping out of my bed in the room I'm in. While I'm getting better on getting further and further away from my bedroom (and neighborhood, etc.), I'd like to know if anyone's had success with being able to create/change their starting point.

I've tried changing the scene inside of the LD right away, but I'm just not able to do it yet (tried drawing a door in a wall to walk through). Gets annoying since I can only get so far from the starting point before I wake up.
