      dream eyes(technique)

This morning I discovered an amazing technique to continue my dreams each and evry time it faded. I just "re-opened" my eyes. I thought of the darkness as me having my eyes closed. So I jsut opened my dream eyes and the dream was there waiting for me. I discovered this on accident, when my dream went away I thouhgt "Are my eyes open?" and I jsut opened my dream eyes to the word that had recently faded.

Well, it worked really well for me and i plan on trying this again whenever my dream fades.

So you just imagine that your eyes are open when they're actually closed?

Yeah. I opened my dream eyes..not the real ones. Just like moving a dream body.

That's a pretty cool trick, thanks! Did it induce a LD for you? Sounds like a cool way to slip into a dream with awareness intact.

No, but all my LD's Im rpetty sure start this way...not on purpose. Maybe not all but lots. I was already lucid when I used this.

so your not physically trying to open your eyes... your just imagining it right? usually for me i have to physically try something, but then it turns out i'm doing it in a dream.

I dont really know how to explain this other than just "open your eyes", because when youre that into a dream you dont even feel your real eyes. At least I dont, or I couldnbt keep dreaming. You imagine opening your eyes as much as you imagine walking in a dream. I can give more details when I learn more but I didnt have a lucid dream last night.

There was a topic like this a month or so ago, wish I could remember where it is. They basically said what you did. Don't resist, let the darkness take you and then open your eyes. Kind of like a false awakening.
you must be the change you wish to see in the world...

Do you remember any key words I could maybe look up to find this old topic? Might be better to hear someone other than me try and explain.

      its not that complicated...

Just when the dream starts to fade out, open your eyes, and youre out of the darkness.
All I know is that i don't know nothing.

Ive just realised this is very similar to what i do when my dreams start to fade. I close my eyes as the dream is fading relax and concentrate on myself then open them again to a new dreamscape.
