      Making things happen

Name the way you get a new dream scene in lucids and how often it works for you, and also your summoning method and how often it works for you.

what i did was i closed my eyes and started picturing the place i wanted to be, then i started picturing tacile things about that place (smells, textures, temperatures, ect..) and once i started doing that i could see light through my eyelids flicker on and then off and then the flickering got faster and all of a sudden it was just light so i opened my eyes and i was there...i have only had one experience with it though

and as for summoning, i summoned a glass of sweet tea and also big foot (dont ask) the sweet tea i just formed my hand in the shape of holding a cup and it thought about the sweet tea and it appeared, for big foot i shouted at a hill top for sasquatch to appear and it did, so try shouting your commands, it actually works surprisingly well

Thanks for the replies guys, keep up the good work.

I mean 60 plus views and 1 shitting reply, i mean all you have to do is say your summoning and dream scene change method, i know thats a really difficult task and all so maybe i shouldnt be complaining.

I thought dreamviews was a friendly forum all about helping each other out.

Perhaps i was thinkINg of another forum, yeh that must be it.

BTW THANKS OUBASEBALLD3 FOR THE ONLY REPLY.

Just be patient, more people will reply eventually.

One of the first times I tried to make something appear was when I was testing to see if I was in a dream. I thought I was so I just concentrated on a mouse appearing. When I looked down, a spark appeared and a white mouse ran out of it.

There are a lot of post in this board so just look around for more.

Hmmm... the only way I get a new scene is by it naturally occurring. That, or if I close my eyes and imagine a new place.

Sorry you feel that way. *sigh*

Click "search forum", type in "changing dreamscapes" and you will get a whole heap of threads asking the same question with some great answers. Sometimes, that's the best way to get answers you're looking for.

I think some members just don't have time to reply. Not because they don't want to, but because they're lives are pretty busy as they are. Give them time, like days (3 or 4), not just hours to reply.

I personally change my dreamscape by walking through doors. I say "When I go through that door, I will be at *insert wherever I want my dreamscape to be*."

Ok maybe i was a little impatient but 60 views and 1 reply, it only takes like a minute to reply to this post because its such a basic topic so i don't think that you could say that they didn't have time to reply.

Anyway i dont want to argue so lets get back on topic.

I want to become good at dream control (summoning/change scenery) really bad so i would really like to hear some replies.

The best way to increase your dream control is to keep practicing every time you get a lucid. Just keep trying and you'll get total control.

There's no way to tell how long it will take as it is different for everyone.

Yeh its all about how much you believe whatever your trying is gonna work and practice. The hard thing will be to generate belief after it failing so many times.

Total control would be nice but just basic control like summoning and scene change is what i really want to be able to achieve.

      Thanks for the feedback.

Whats your dream control like btw?

I once got to another place by imagining it right behind a door.

To get a new scene I always go through the mirror in my bedroom (it's a big one) and imagine the scene on the other side. Usually I'm going to a music concert of one of my favourite bands, so I usually just imagine going through the mirror and down some steps into an arena or whatever and it always works. I've only ever tried it with concerts though, about 3 times. I'm concert obsessed . I'm gonna try a different scene next time though.

I once summoned my dream journal and pen so that when I wake up they'd be closer to me and I could write down the dream right after I've waken up XD I just stretched my hand and wanted for them to get here and My DJ and a pen started flying towards me. that's all I know about summoning. And about changing the scenery I once tried to spin but that didn't get me far

Two ways I can think of - spinning, and passing through walls.

There are a few ways i've used for both of those things. For changing dreamscape closing eyes is easiest, otherwise imagine it behind you then turn around, or imagine it behind a door. A couple of times I have been able to change my dreamscape right in front of my own eyes which was pretty cool.

As for summoning, i assume you mean manifesting... summoning to me sounds like making demons appear or something. I usually manifest things in my pocket or behind me or i wave my hand in front of me to make it appear. Once again only a couple of times have i been able to manifest something in front of my own eyes... usually need to do it so that I can't see it happpening. There is also demanifesting which is pretty fun if you want to make something (or someone) in your dream disappear... just wave your hand in front of it and imagine it not being there anymore.

Closing my eyes makes me wake up sometimes so i dont try that.

yeh i get your point with the demons thing lol. Yeh i find that i will have alot more success if i can't see it happening, like for example if i am ina house and i want to change the weather expect that when i turn around it will change.

You sound like you have good dream control, i bet you have alot of confidence in your ability to manipulate the dream?

i've had a lot of practice so now i usually find that anything i try works first time... after all the dream is all in your head so its just a matter of using your mind to make things happen.

For me, just asking works. For example, the other day I said "I wanna be on a beach" and BAM my ass is on a sunny beach. Literally, I was sitting on the sand.

I'm still getting used to controlling dreams. Last night, I had a dream that I could barely do anything I wanted to.

The biggest problem was changing it from night to day. That's hard.

The once i attempted that i done it very easily, probably because i felt it was gonna be easy for some reason. I just imagined the dark sky parting and behind it blue sky and it worked, i also used hand motions.

      My dc's were so impressed.

The things i have trouble doing is the things i believe i will have trouble with so its clear that i have just got to believe like i do with the things i can do.

Closing my eyes ALWAYS wakes me up, so I don't even attempt that.

How about touching things? Maybe touch something and think "If I touch this, I will transport myself to [insert wherever you want to get to]".

For me, touching things not only keeps me in a dream, but also makes me change my dreamscape if I wish to.

Yeh well most times it wakes me up.

Never heard that method before, i suppose its about how much you believe in it.

Saying commands also helps. if you can't get something to work. just tell it too.
