      cant reach space :(

      hey so i had a ld last night, rced with the nose one and pushed my finger through my hand...it was funny cause all of a sudden it just pushed through.... so i decided to go to space for some reason, and as i was flying up, the air got thinner obviously, and i ignored that...and as i apporached space, i saw that i had to go one more foot and there would be no atmosphere, and i went up, and i was came up out of a pool of water, and i could not reach space!!!!

      there was like a city were i was though and it looked really cool...maybe my subconsious thought that i would die if i went in the dream vacum of space so it paniced and made that random place....i was shocked......so how can i get to space?

      Getting to space is not a task easily accomplished by the beginner oneiroanut. What I would suggest you do is practice your lucid dreams on a smaller scale getting the hang of things. A key part in any Lucid Dream is stabilizing your environment VIA 1 of various methods. For instance shouting out stabilization commands, rubbing your hands together, and sometimes spinning (however do note that spinning can also end a dream quickly).

      After you do these things I would once again attempt entering space. However if you are really keen on entering space with little experience I would suggest you use some sort of vehicle that is capable of getting the job done. Try finding a spaceship, or a plane, or something of the sorts. Imagine one will be in a garage when you open it, usually works.

      Yeah, I would just make a spacesuit, then try again. Or just chill and explore the city, because you might have just teleported to another world! Try out your ninja skillz!

      You could try looking at some pictures of space or research space travel, that could help your mind fill in the detail as you go.

      Ah I forgot to mention this. As you might of guessed our dreams are built off of experience. So perhaps you could not reach space because you do not have enough experience with space.

      The cure for this? Perhaps you need to familiarize yourself with space. Watch some space movies, look at some space photos, etc. Once you yourself have a better understanding of space and what it looks like as well as what it contains. Your subconscious may have a easier time constructing such an environment for you to enjoy.

      Recently, I've had that trouble too. I'm not sure why, I've gone there before. I think it's just because I'm not used to it, so you have the same problem. Try instead of flying into space, get to where you can't get any higher and then teleport past your boundary.
