The original setting on the timer for my induction device was (hh:mm) 1:30, 1:40, 1:40, 1:20, 0:50, 1:00, 1:00, 1:00, 1:00 -- and then repeat. The results of that were minimal; I have worn the device every single night for the past 2 months (or whenever my first post was). I began to wonder if maybe my time was just a little bit off, so I changed it to cover more areas of the night, just in case I was missing REM by only a few mintues. About 2 weeks ago I changed the time scheme to (hh:mm) 1:30, 0:10, 0:10, 1:10, 0:10, 0:10, 1:10, 0:10, 0:10 -- and then repeat. This way I was covering a half hour's time at intervals of 10 minutes. Then about another hour later I was covering another half hour... and so on. The very first night produced a lengthy lucid dream. The next night - nothing. The following night was the most successful night ever; 5 lucid dreams throughout the entire night. The next night - nothing. The following night, again, multiple lucid dreams. Then several more days, and another one. Haven't had one in a few days now. I'm not sure if it's the change that is the most responsible for the increased lucid dreams right away. Every morning I wake up with my device around my forehead, and often don't recall pulling them off my eyes and putting them there. A few times I'll find them sitting next to my pillow. I have recalled several times waking up "annoyed" by the blinking lights and putting the device up on my forehead to stay asleep. Nevertheless, I still continue to use them every single night, and will eventually narrow down to the precise times that are individual to me. Hope we all have such success some day.
