Thread: My LDs don't last long...

My LDs seem to be triggered either by fear or by the feeling of falling. The problem is the same thing makes me wake up. I remember 4 LDs, of which 3 were triggered by fear:
In the first one, I was swinging when I jumped and fell into a deep cliff. I then realized that it was a dream, but woke up immediately after.
In the second one, I was trying to escape from a building (which, as I recall, was a school) and jumped from a balcony like 40 meters above the ground. I realized it was a dream but, again, woke up immediately.
In the third one, I was in my room. Only the lamp was open. I climbed on my chair to check something and saw the reflection of a demon/ghost/whatever. The stort repeated: I fell from the chair, realized it was a dream and woke up.
My question is: is it possible to continue a dream after feeling fear or falling from somewhere?
BTW: sorry for the long post. And sorry if the question's answer is obvious, I'm a newbie when it comes to LDs
