Well you are exceptionally lucky to have 4 lucid dreams in one night.
You need to work on your control a bit more, I suggest that you do regular RC within the lucid dream. To keep yourself under control.

I read a study on REM onset as a result of naps, and they found that napping before sleep gets you ahead into longer REM periods when you finally go to sleep. Basically it's just like a very long WBTB. I think this could definitely help you have longer REM periods later in the night, especially if you nap for a few hours, are up for a a bit (it said they found results up to 8 and 12 hours later), and then go back to sleep for the night.

I don't think that taking such a very short nap as you did would make a big difference at all though. I think most likely you got very lucky with the false awakenings. If I were you, I'd just concentrate on reality checking thoroughly whenever you wake up and/or get out of bed, especially if you do remember getting FAs very frequently.

Also, this belongs in Attaining Lucidity.

Since it's been merged the new topic seems to be more along the lines of dream stabilization than napping to induce LDs. I think maybe he had them flip-flopped because now this one seems like it should go into dream control?

Anyway, OP- try to make sure that your dream is stabilized mentally and.... dreamily... before you try to do things.

I wouldnt be doing the spinning anyway.

One time I tried spinning, a flash of white, woke up.

I have had really great results with focusing on an object like a tree. Just noticing how detailed it is has really suken me deeper into lucidity and it just a really great feeling.

Spinning works for some, fails others. Personally, I refuse to ever spin again. But, I know people who swear by it. Just keep trying. If you find it works for you, fantastic. If you find yourself having trouble, try out the other techniques mentioned in the tutorial or anything else you read or can think of that would help you. Whatever works best for you, works best for you

my very first lucid dream i actually focused on my hand and spun. but yeah if you can't find anything like a tree, focus on your hand. or just what ever works best like what shift said.
