Having Control of Environment, Vivid but not Lucid

So last night I had this dream where I was in my girlfriend's driveway and all of a sudden I get hit with this mystical ball of light and then I have this feeling of control in my environment. I was able to feel the weight of a certain object and was able to create lots of guns organized nicely on the driveway. And also my girlfriend was able to levitate herself (its alot like the movie Phenomenon with John Travolta).
I have been doing RCs and reading alot about Lucid Dreaming because I want to achieve it....what kind of dream was this? I was in control of my environment, vivid, but no awareness of dreaming.
      Thanks

I'd say that you just had a normal dream. A cool one, but normal. The reason I say this is because.......

This tells me that you were in complete control of your dreamworld, but you were not CONSCIOUS of it. If you were conscious that you were dreaming and making those changes (the guns appear, etc) then you were lucid. In this case, you just had a cool dream where you can control your surroundings....but it wasn't lucid.

Very cool. Thanks for the reply. The vividness of it, and the sensation of feeling the weight, was a very cool experience. Even if it wasnt lucid, has given me more motivation to work on lucid dreaming. Thanks

Hey, antime...that's what the community is here for. And I know exactly what you mean about having a regular dream that gives you motivation; I had a dream last summer (I'll never forget it) where I stole a car, and when I woke up, I still felt the steering wheel in the palm of my hands like when I was clenching onto it with dear life. Amazing.

The human mind is an incredible thing.
