I do not think that the action of 'twirling' is itself important, but the idea behind it is. |

I agree, the spinning itself isn't important, people often focus on something in their dream world, ie your hands to begin with, it's all about making your dreaming world more concrete. If you focus for a moment on something, and direct your awareness towards something besides the fact that you are aware is the key. Sometimes this can cause a loss of lucidity, but at least you won't wake up. |

The spinning technique works for me 100% of the time. So glad I read LaBerge's book! I can prolong my lucidity soooo much by doing that. |
