i can only obtain lucidity for only a couple of minutes

Whenever I DILD I'm only lucid for a few minutes. It's pretty amazing, everything is so vivid and real. After a few minutes though I must get distracted or I might just not remember.

Do you pretty much always remember your lucid dreams? Because I feel I accomplished so much more while lucid, but don't remember it.

remembering your dreams (and lucid dreams) more and more will come with time and practice. The more you keep writing in your dream journal and getting your dreams down in detail, the better your dream recall will become.. I pretty much remember every lucid dream i have because once I awake from it, I write it down in my dream journal so i don't forget. As far as prolonging the lucid dreams, there are many tips and techniques you can use that are posted around the forum.. check it out once you get time under the Attaining Lucidity/Dream Control sections!

      Hope this helps

Like spirit said the more you record your dreams the more you will remember them, and in my opinion dream recall is the hardest part of lucid dreaming and its still pretty easy

Also to stay in the lucid longer I believe looking at your hands or spinning should help you prolong your dream, and if you do wake you could always DEILD, which is when you just lay perfectly still after you awaken and you should go right back into the dream within a minute or two.

Its also impossible to know if you remember all of your lucid dreams, if you only remember 2 dreams a night there will be about 4 you didn't remember, for all you know these dreams could have been lucid The more dreams you remember the more likely you will remember a lucid dream

      ^Probably

yea I have to try a lot harder with the recall. i havent tried DEILD yet, but that does sound great. Thats crazy though, all of our LD counts could be so much more if we had amazing recall.
